Agri Labour Australia, Agri Veterans Program

In late 2015, Agri Labour Australia launched the Agri Veterans program. With the support of Australia’s agriculture industry, Agri Veterans aims to bridge the gap between ‘deployment and employment’ for ex-service men and women by helping them find rewarding agriculture roles that match their existing skills.

Since launching, Agri Veterans has successfully placed over 50 ex-Defence members into agriculture jobs, which include roles such as Orchard Supervisor, Farm Operations Manager, Cotton Gin Assistant, Merchandise Storeman, Forklift Operator and Account Manager. In June 2017, Agri Veterans won the ‘Best Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Initiative’ award at the Recruitment International Awards Australia.
