Nick is a strategic leader passionate about creating change for veterans to develop and implement meaningful employment opportunities post service life. Nick brings a wealth of experience from his time in the military, working in private enterprise and embedding within government organisations.

With a drive for continuous improvement, Nick has a demonstrated ability to adapt and provide innovative solutions to client problems. His adeptness in establishing and nurturing relationships allows Nick to excel in cultivating and leveraging connections with diverse stakeholders, even in geographically distant, dynamic, and communicatively challenging environments.

A former Army Aviation aircraft technician, Nick has led Accenture ANZ’s Veterans' Network since 2022. Nick exemplifies leadership in veteran employment and the development of enduring partnerships with ex-service organisations. Under his stewardship, Accenture has implemented internal reforms and delivered key public initiatives to improve outcomes for veterans.

Internally, Nick has driven significant policy change. He advocated updates to Accenture’s Equal Employment Opportunity policy to ensure veterans receive fair and equitable access to roles, regardless of military background. He also guided updates to the Reserve Leave policy, giving employees up to ten paid days annually for their ADF Reservist duties.

Nick continues to lead the Recognised Prior Learning Program, which supports veterans—especially non-commissioned officers without formal qualifications—to gain recognition for military experience. In 2024, three veterans were added, bringing the total to 11 fully funded participants since the program’s inception.

Externally, Nick has led Accenture’s partnerships with Legacy Australia and Invictus Australia (IA). In 2023, he oversaw Accenture’s support of Legacy’s Centenary Campaign as its digital enablement partner. His leadership helped deliver 2,000 pledged volunteer hours, engaging 130 volunteers across 16 sites—accounting for 13% of Legacy’s global volunteer base and 50% of all Corporate Sponsor volunteers.

More recently, Nick facilitated a research partnership with IA, enhancing the organisation’s research capabilities. The collaboration is producing impactful reports to support long-term veteran wellbeing, with the first due for release imminently.

Nick’s leadership also culminated in Accenture being named a ‘Veteran Employer of Choice’ by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs in late 2024—at the time, the only major consulting firm to receive this honour. This award reflects his strong commitment to the veteran community and to making Accenture a top employer for veterans.
