INLOC is a veteran-owned organisation dedicated to delivering high-impact solutions in some of the world's most remote and challenging environments. Founded with a mission to drive ecological, social, cultural, and economic development, INLOC draws on the deep expertise, leadership, and resilience of its predominantly ex-Defence workforce—over 50% of full-time staff are military veterans.
Led by CEO Vanessah Brown, with over 30 years of multi-sector experience including service in the Australian Defence Force, and General Manager Scott Taylor, a 25-year Army veteran, INLOC is built on principles of professionalism, agility, and cultural respect. This leadership foundation informs INLOC’s approach to capacity building, Indigenous engagement, and ecological conservation.
Operating across Northern Australia and the South Pacific, INLOC offers a diverse portfolio of services including land management, marine conservation, training and certification, and complex program management. As a Registered Training Organisation, INLOC delivers nationally recognised qualifications—empowering communities and advancing the careers of First Nations peoples and veterans alike.
INLOC’s veteran ethos ensures mission-readiness, adaptability, and operational excellence. From aerial pest control to maritime operations and community development, INLOC’s teams thrive in demanding conditions, guided by values of safety, commitment, and sustainability.
By integrating military precision with local knowledge and ecological science, INLOC fosters resilience and long-term self-sufficiency for the communities it serves - leaving lasting impact long after the mission ends.
