Ironside has placed in excess of 500 veterans into employment and has indirectly supported thousands more. The company prides itself on pre and post-employment support and its reputation within the veteran community and across its client-base is testament to this.
In 2018 Fortescue Metals Group (FMG) partnered with Ironside to secure employment for veterans. As a result 54 veterans have entered new careers in the mining industry, with further intakes to occur in 2019. As part of the collaboration, Ironside provided guidance on skills alignment and training requirements for veteran employees and partnered with Newcastle University for access to wellness and online support programs.
